‘FutureLearn Choices’ Program Highlights Uni Courses for High Schoolers

It is time to plan for summer, and for high school students thinking about choosing and preparing for university, FutureLearn announced ‘FutureLearn Choices’, a special collection of courses starting in June or July that will give students a sample of different universities and university subjects that they may be interested in.

This list includes popular FutureLearn courses, such as: Good Brain, Bad Brain: Basics, from the University of Birmingham, and Begin Programming: Build your First Mobile Game from the University of Reading.

The course list also includes courses that are geared especially for students preparing for University:

• How to Succeed at: Writing Applications from the University of Sheffield
• Preparing for Uni from the University of East Anglia
• How to Succeed at: Interviews from the University of Sheffield

In an interview with BestCerts, FutureLearn CEO Simon Nelson said:

“We’ve collected a suite of courses for people aged 16-19, we think we’ve got a lot to offer that age group”.
