Udacity offers 50% tuition reimbursement for all Nanodegrees

July has shaped up to be a big month already for Udacity. Last week it was announced that any students who completes a Nanodegree within one year’s time will be eligible for a 50% tuition reimbursement. According to Udacity, the average time of completion for a Nanodegree is around 6 to 12 months. At a cost of $200 a month, there is now even more incentive to dig in and complete the program.

Back in May Udacity offered this same deal for a few days to promote its Android Nanodegree program which was announced at this year’s Google I/O.

If that wasn’t enough, Udacity quietly rolled out a new “Teams” feature on Thursday that will allow students to collaborate using the Layer communications stack. It is currently only available to the new Front-End Nanodegree cohort, so check back soon for more details.

In a recent Forbes article founder Sebastian Thrun noted that their completion rate went from a dismal 3% for free courses to an impresive 92% for a paid degree program that offers mentorship and enhanced student engagement.

There are currently 6 Nanodegree programs boasting approximately 8600 registered students:
